What we collect
Quote requests. The details you enter (name, company, email, phone, country, notes and the products you list). Your quote list is kept in your own browser until you send it.
Website assistant (chat). The questions you type and the answers, and, if you choose to share them, your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number and company. Answers are generated automatically from our product data and may contain mistakes; our quote and the documents supplied with your order are what count.
Analytics, only if you allow it. A first-party cookie (cbs_vid, kept for 6 months) with a random ID, the pages you view on this site, the page or campaign that brought you here, and your approximate city and country from your network address. If you later send a quote request or share contact details in the chat, we link that history to your enquiry so we can follow up with relevant information. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, follow up on them, and understand which products and pages are useful. We do not sell your details or use advertising cookies. Chat answers are produced by an AI model hosted by our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare; your messages are not used to train it.
Product news
We send product news and offers by email only if you tick the box for it in the chat or the quote form. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time.
How long we keep it
Page-view history is deleted after about 13 months. Enquiry and contact details are kept while we have a business relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can allow or refuse analytics at any time from . Refusing deletes the analytics cookie and the page history linked to it. To see, correct or delete your details, write to info@cbscientific.in.
